Road Safety With Constable Rob

Last week Constable Rob came in and taught us about road Safety.  We went for walks and crossed the road and we even got to go in the police car and talk on the loud speaker. We also got to dress up as policemen.

Butterfly Writing

Last week we went out to the school Butterfly Garden and looked at the butterflies and caterpillars. We didn't see any cocoons.  We also watched this video on YouTube: How I became a butterfly.

Then we wrote our stories for guided writing.  Some of us also wrote some stories about butterflies and caterpillars for independent writing.  Our independent writing books and our guided writing folders are on the wall in our classroom.  We'd love you to read our stories, or ask us to read them to you.

Last week was all about the letter b.  During our literacy tumble we did lots of activities that started with b.

More Bubbles

We made bubble pictures by blowing bubbles.

We drew a background with pastels and painted it with dye.

 We wrote bubble stories for guided writing (writing with the teacher).

And we made more bubbles!
